Re: Folding TPTK
The open raise UTG with AT offsuit is bad.
Why no checkraise on the flop? Protect your hand the best you can. |

Re: Folding TPTK
On second reading, I think we're actually saying the same thing. I was saying my difference in VPIP is because I'm tighter up front and others are saying their difference in VPIP is because they're more loose in the back (heh, heh).

Re: Folding TPTK
fold preflop..i guess your just experimenting with hands like this??? from reading your posts I think your preflop game has gotten worse as you've tried to loosen up.

Re: Fold preflop?
Isn't this the sort of situation though where a raise is only going to knock out players with worse hands, and leave in players with better hands? In addition, it exposes you to a reraise from a later position while holding a marginal starting hand. I'm definitely willing to be convinced that the PF raise is generally good, but I'm not sure I'm there yet.

Re: Fold preflop?
I don't do it, and my VPIP is 17-18. I'll agree it's probably not wrong by much.

Fold Turn Unimproved
You're getting the implied odds on the Flop to hit your 5 outter (2-pair/trips).
