I\'m looking to build a multi-monitor poker computer
I would like to get a video card that supports 4 monitors. Any suggestions to what type of card I should get?

Maybe more realistic to get system with mobo that supports two PCI-E cards.

Look under the section "Multi-monitor video cards" for 4-port cards. Most of the cards cost $500+. It would be cheaper to get two 2-port cards (AGP and PCI) |

Re: I\'m looking to build a multi-monitor poker computer
The Matrox Parhelia has four outs. I am using a dual AGP and two dual PCI's as suggested above. I recommend getting the old Radeon 9000 series. Cheap and good and they play nice together under XP.

How do you get the table to fill up the whole screen, just change resolution? If so, what resolution is best? thanks

Freakin [/ QUOTE ] No, but I recall from another thread that the person using that setup has an eye problem which is why he has one table per monitor. I'm guessing he can't see properly otherwise. Nice setup for 24-tabling for anybody else though. |

Re: I\'m looking to build a multi-monitor poker computer
Yes, the setup is for an eye problem which thankfully is healing slowly. You couldn't 24 table on this setup anyway the max rez of a 17 is 1280x1024 (there would be overlap).Best rez is 800x600.
2 20-21" LCD's is still the best way to go for most people. Rob |
