Dell 2001 question.

Been using this monitor for about a month and love it. Earlier today however a red laser like line is split right down the middle of the screen, it also lasted a minute or so then left, but now it is back again and has been on for some time and I cant figure out how to get rid of this. Anyone know anything about this?

Unfortunately I had this develop on the right half of my monitor about a month after I purchased it (only it's yellow). It's either a defect with the monitor, or has something to do with my speaker next to the monitor.
