Kind of annoying that they don't have a 4 color deck, I went through the folders to modify the cards images but they aren't there! Anyone have any success locating/modifying the cards?

[/ QUOTE ]

Check ChipLitre's site for a mod for Pacific that will give you a 4-color deck.

OP: Can't get hand histories (well downloaded into PT at least), that's one of the main reasons a lot of people don't play there. Can't multitable, no hand histories, slow cashouts (5-7 business days), horrible support.

PokerTracker supports Pacific now, with a $10 app called "HandGrabber" that grabs hands off the network as they go by. I'm very happy with it.

The cashouts are indeed a very slow, and their site crashes way too often.

Final word of caution - unrelated to the mod - NEVER EVER chat/write notes while in a hand. The program somehow reads the keystrokes as being auto-raises. Do your note taking/chatting once your hand is folded.

they were very proud about this second upgrade that they've ever made

you can now type b for bet, r for raise, etc, if you want to use your keyboard instead of your mouse

the bad news is that when it's your turn these keys take priority over any note- or chat-typing you happen to be doing, so, as you say, it's very easy to fold your aces if you happen to be noting that you've found an effing fish amongst all the excellent and tricky players that frequent the place

Is pacific really that loose ? At what limits does that wear off ? I heard of its fishiness, but I've only looked at the 30-60 game. To me it seems to be quite tight passive. Am I missing something ?

[/ QUOTE ]

higher limits = lots of team play

play small at pacific, or don't play at all.

my 2 cents

lol. I had no idea that they had this "feature". It's pretty cool actually, but no where did I see an advertisement for it - or better yet a warning !

What makes you say that?

play small at pacific, or don't play at all.

Kow, from what I have seen the play at pacific is even worse then party though I only have somewhere between 1-2k hands so far. But it was seriously bad. Seemed alot like low limits at a live B&M where people had even less of an idea of betting in relation to the pot, always betting the same amounts and the other things that are very common at low stacks B&M NL.

I only signed up to get a free chip set through a freepokerbooksonline.com deal listed on this site. I'll probably play occasionally but the software really sucks as others have mentioned. No 6max is a big drag for me cause that is what I love to play.

Yep the software is horrid, Gametime+ hardly ever works due to the Pacific software, Save yourself the trouble and stick to party.
