How to keep focused?

I guess I'm a typical ADD kid because I can not keep concentrated on the game, after an hour or so I'll lose focus and play less than optimal (and I'm usully playing 4 tables) One solution to this is to take frequent breaks but that cuts into my play time too much (maybe I should shorten the breaks [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]) Is there anything you guys do to keep your concentration up? I'm trying to avoid drugs, mental exercises or something like that would be helpfui.

How good are you?

I don't know about you, but when I play, whenever I'm in a hand and facing a bet, I calculate my pot odds and try to do it as accurately as possible. Then I refer to my handy dandy homemade pot odds chart and see if it's worth a call/raise or not.

For me, playing 4 tables and doing this, I'm kept plenty busy and involved. I usually play full, but lately I've dabbled in 6max (and found the play to be on average even worse that full tables btw) and even playing 3 tables of 6max, I'm kept even more busy then 4 of full. And I'm making more bb/100 and clearing bonus's way faster too. Give it a try.

ya get high smoke pot when i have major surgery thats what i am gonna tell my surgeon to do before he slices into to me so he can focus on what he is doing on me. of course i will supply him with some "kind" weed so he will have nuthin but the spaceiest thoughts while he is focusing in on my heart,bowels, or etc. y do you think they call it dope?

Physical exercise.

Take time to workout normally throughout the week and try to do little things (push-ups, crunches, streching) during your breaks.

I have ADD, I get bored in a minute. Even if I do something I really like. So I'm multitasking all along. Playing several tables, watching a movie, browsing the forums, all at once.

I'm used to it, so it doesn't really hurt my game.
