now this is how you handle a bad beat
Player 1 (33) and Player 2 (AKo) both hit the flop (AQ3), Player 1 makes a boat on the turn with another Q, and the third queen on the river gives Player 2 the bigger boat. Big pot, looks like your regular bad beat story.
Player1: nh Player2: sorry, got really lucky Player1: that's ok, you deserved it for hanging in there Player1: nh the guy just reloads back to full and keeps playing. who says you can't learn anything at the 25NL tables... |

Re: now this is how you handle a bad beat
berating them is much funner, and more profitable.

Re: now this is how you handle a bad beat
here's the hand history... not exactly well played, just thought the conversation afterwards was interesting

Re: now this is how you handle a bad beat
[ QUOTE ]
BB played it horrible. [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. The small reraise on the flop was bad enough. Then giving him 8:1 on the turn, MP1 is more than correct to call with TPTK. In fact, given the implied odds, he might have made that call even knowing BB had the boat already (10:1). I think he needed to reraise to $13 on the flop, and bet 3/4 pot on the turn. |
