It looks like a good play. Calling raise pre-flop with 22 can be trouble in a real game...but $25NL on PP is pretty soft.
It was good luck that you filled up with the same card your opponent got his flush.
What would you have done if a different spade hit the turn?

Normally I would disagree, but if you're going to play it how you did, I agree.

The raise is less than 5% of Hero's stack. It's a must-call.

I don't think you can justify the flop call. He doesn't have enough chips to double you. With his chips as bounty on the call you get like 11:1 on your call. Not the odds to chase a boat that could lose the pot.

Nice turn card though.

The Turn was as far as i was going with the hand if i didn't improve. The opponent was running his mouth all night so I was looking to get his stack otherwise probably would have folded on the flop.

This is the kind of flop that I like to bet or checkraise, when I'm feeling frisky. Players will be hard-pressed to call it without an A, and if you're called, give up. This should be an easy pot to steal though.

With 4 players seeing a flop like this on $25NL you have almost 0 fold eq. I'm checking/folding this flop every time.

Ax would still have 4 outs to beat you on the turn if you fill up. i think you figured your implied odds were much higher than your chance of hitting a 2 on the turn, so you called. Lucky it filled the flush for someone else.....suckers!

with 4 players calling 6xBB preflop-raise, it's very likely that one of them has an ace. Even if no one has an ace, on the flop, you're still coin-flip against any flush draw (a flush draw has 14 outs on your 22) and way behind any pocket pair. And I do not like chasing a 2-out draw just for a chance to stack someone, especially when the stacks are not even deep.

The call on the flop is a little sketchy, and I think I might raise more on the turn...otherwise ok.
