"I find that after I PFR, I tend to bet the flop in position, and if I don't hit, on most boards I check behind on the turn."
Stop checking behind on the turn. And i don't mean start betting 20% of the time when this situation arises- just start [censored] betting the turn. 70% or more. Repeat the mantra Aggression is hard to deal with Aggression is hard to deal with be the aggressor. Bet the turn. Bet the turn. Get paid off more on your good hands. Pick up more pots with your weak hands. Bet the turn. With some experience you will start to figure out what opponents/boards you want to check behind with. Betting>not betting Edit/note: I garuntee if i play with you any amount i have a note saying something to the extent of "checks the turn with nothing in pos." Lets me take cards off on the flop all the time knowing i will often get to see the river for 1 sb, or i can bet into you and florce you off your KQ or whatever on the river. |

[ QUOTE ]
Why are there 7 seats in your positional stats? [/ QUOTE ] I think its a PT error. I have this problem too, when I pull up my positional stats for 6max games, I have 734 hands from the mysterious position of 4 off the button and 327 from 5 off the button. I guess these would be the seldom talked about positions of UTG-1 and UTG-2. This happens even when I filter for 5-6 players. Any suggestions? |
