Default Vegas golf?

Hey guys...having a hard time finding this topic via search (I KNOW it's been discussed before) and I am asking for a co-worker who needs to know sooner rather than later, so...

What are some of the better golf courses in Vegas? Under $200 greens fees, please...

Thanks in advance.

I've always liked the Paiute courses, although they can be a little breezy. Top greens fee right now is around or just under $200 I believe.

Played Stallion Mountain before. I believe it was about $140 when we played. Great course. There's at least one other course right there as well, but the beer consumption led us to only play 18 holes.

I've played TPC Canyons, and the Badlands.

Both are off the strip a bit, and less than $200.

Badlands is a set of 3 9's, and you play two of the three. I remember it being pretty challenging and if you miss the fairway you are basically screwed as your ball is in the desert. It did have some cool holes though.

TPC canyons was real nice course, and I think it is/was part of a PGA event.

I was out there a couple weeks ago and played Painted Desert. It was about a 40 minute drive from the strip. I believe it was about $125. Course was very nice.

Played Painted Desert 1st week of April...incredibly overrated at the price IMO.

I visit LV 2x a year for the last 6-7 years and I like Badlands and Stallion Mountain at their rates. Pretty decent value. There are better courses but at < 175 those two work for me.

I've played a lot of them, but not very recently. Limiting to those around $200, off the top of my head, I played Angel Park a long time ago ... nothing special relative to what's out there, price is right. TPC Canyons I liked a great deal but the price is probably around $200 (speculating). I played the Sahara course a long time ago ... not sure if it's still there or what it would be called ... again, nothing special but low price. I even played Las Vegas municipal, which was awful at that time.
