Working on aggression
I have been working on being more aggressive at the table. I have improved my pre-flop aggression but post flop needs work. The poker tracker has me as tight, aggressive, passive. After reviewing my stats and thinking about my play I began to wonder if my problem wasnt betting or raising but maybe calling too much. I feel as though I bet and raise post flop but after rasing preflop I rarely get a chance to riase as most will check to raiser. Below are my stats and would appreciate feedback and or comments.
%Raises %Bet %Call %Check %Fold Pre flop 5.83 0 16.96 5.19 70.64 Flop 6.68 28.62 16.25 23.71 17.50 Turn 3.85 25.41 18.76 30.78 15.97 River 3.02 17.05 20.62 42.17 11.55 |

Re: Working on aggression
Aggression factor is calculated thus:
(raise % + bet %) / call % So, yes, calling too much lowers your aggression factor. Calling too much will cause PT to think you're passive. Notice that checking doesn't acount against you in this calculation, so if it's checked to you, the raiser, a check doesn't count against you (since that could be part of an aggressive free card play) and a bet helps your AF. Re: Working on aggression
I am calling about 17-20% on avg so..... Does that seem a bit high? These numbers are based on over 10K at the 1-2 tables. I plan to try and reduce my calls anyways but does this seem high?

Re: Working on aggression
Interesting stats - your AF is fairly high on the flop and turn - drops off to about 1 on the river..
