Re: Two hands
well others have said they like the check on the turn on hand #1. why do we like it? are we putting Button on AA or JJ? is your read on him aggressive to think you're on a flush draw and to bet? were you going to c/r or wait 'til river?
hand #2: umm...i guess it depends on how i feel about the table and the others playing. limp or raise from this position, i'm comfortable with. |

Re: Two hands
I don't like #1 without a read or other meta-game considerations based on limited play with the guy. I don't particularly want him folding a 3-outer to a C/R when there's a solid chance he calls the turn and the river with AK or AQ UI. And if he checks through then you will truly be the whiff-master. What are the chances he calls a C/R and then calls a river bet?
Same with #2. I'd likely be limping way more often then raising. Add in an additional limper and I'm a fan (though still doing this selectively); add in 2 limpers and GAMBOO1!!1 |

I like #1. [/ QUOTE ] I knew you would. [ QUOTE ] #2 is table-depdendent but usually I just limp here. [/ QUOTE ] Me too. But my image was sparkling clean and they were really really passive. Like I could possibly get to the river for this raise. |

Re: Two hands
Hand 1: Tricky sh!t. If no club falls on the river, he'll probably cap. Watch out for a K though.
Hand 2: Is Hero trying to improve his PF aggression stats? Or are the limpers all 40/1 fish? |

Re: Two hands
I don't get hand one at all to be perfectly honest. Oftentimes I would just call the 3-bet with a hand like AK (waiting to raise the turn) thinking that you might be on a hand like AT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Re: Two hands
I don't mind the turn check in hand 1, but the progression doesn't seem to flow with regards to 3-betting the flop and checking the turn; on the other hand, he may read it as a flush draw/straight draw allowing you to extract more. I'm not sure how important this is in general and more specifically at low limits, but I think inducing a bluff and feigning weakness would be better accomplished by calling his raise and either C/R'ing the turn or river (or both?).
Hand 2 I like. Though, I don't always have the balls to make the play if I've been caught recently. |

Re: Two hands
Hand 1 is sexy, but whats the plan for the river?
Hand 2: I like if you've got some mad postflop skills, and you think you can dominate, but otherwise I limp and see a cheap flop. But your sfer, so you can do whatever |

Re: Two hands
Hand on looks okay to me.
Hand two... not my usual autopilot play. I do this maybe for metagame considerations, but not generally at .5/1... |
