Default Re: PL 1-2 game, top 2 plan

lmao
I would have tested him with a reraise if i had a good read on his prior play. I actually would not have played this hand preflop as it is a definite trouble hand in weak position. I would not have put the guy on a gutshot. Did he have a good read on your play, or is he a rather loose player who gambles with any draw? I also know a few players who will do this same play figuring that implied odds are there if they hit and might give him a freecard on turn when you check (the trapper getting trapped ploy). Also one might make this play with a backdoor flush draw or if they think they can bluff you out on later round. He was off suit which really makes one wonder how many times you can get bluff raised and you never see their hand because you bet on a later round and they end up folding. I had the same thing happen to me when i flopped trip aces and the guy hit a gutshot on the river when i just called his reraise on the flop and plannned a check raise on the turn. I don't do those kinda plays anymore needless to say.
