Check/call the turn, fold if you don't hit your draw.

Folding preflop is also an option... may be read dependent though. The flop and turn looks alright to me.

This river is an easy fold.

I personally can't see folding this hand PF, but that's me. I think you played it fine until the river: I honestly don't think it's worth the extra BB but that's just my opinion. It's a decent sized pot, but after being raised on the turn and bet into on the river, I don't think you're ahead often enough to make the call profitable UNLESS you have a specific read on the villain; if that's the case, then I can see calling the river.

I understand the reasoning behind check/calling the turn, but I think that may be a bit biased by the outcome; ergo, betting the turn is fine, I think. You're still quite possibly ahead, and if you're not, you have a pretty good draw that's likely to take the pot if it hits.

Preflop is reasonably close because the implied odds are lesser without many people in the pot and I almost folded, but I think the call was ok.

Flop: I prefer leading to check/calling here. If he raises me then I worry more about being behind something like TT.

Check-calling the turn is probably preferable as an overpair might wait for the turn to pump it up.

River, I called b/c people had been pushing their overs like this on various hands. Not a specific read on him exactly, but the only hands I was really worried about were AJ, KJ and the higher PPs. One more bet and I think I had a shot at picking off a bluff here often enough to make it worthwhile.

Results:

He showed KQo and mhig.

I wanted to post the hand because, though the result was nice, I'd probably be behind here more than I was counting on to make the call a good one.

Well if we're betting the flop, then it's for value against 3 opponents. It sucks going first every round.

I hate going into check/call mode on the turn because it lets a hand like AK steal one from us when we miss our draw.

That's why I like leading the turn. It just sucks that we got raised.

I would definitely fold this river. Other streets look fine.

I'd check raise this flop and lead the turn. I don't check/call the turn because it doesn't seem to make sense to give up your initiative here - many overcards will probably fold here.

Given the way the hand played out, I'm not into the river call. What hands do you beat here?

Check/folding the turn here with an OESD is awful.
