I call down here as well, as people can be complete fucktards in blind battles. I play 5/10 and people get out of line and I'm sure this is even more prevalent at 10/20.

It definitely seems like you'll win more then enough in this battle of the blinds.

-nice spot for a semi-bluff with club draw on turn
-the fact this is a flop that he could easily interpret as having missed you
-relative strength to board against unknown definitely positive.

I think you did just fine.

I call down, like poeple have said, people like to get tricky in blind battles. I can see him with A high thinking "If I smooth call the flop, and check raise the turn, hell know I have a 6!!!" or some such [censored]. You will show a profit long term calling down.

Overall, no, not at all (~3BB/100 this month), but there are mini-stretches where I feel much more lost and stupid than normal. There are times I'll call a turn raise with 2nd pair and laugh hysterically as I see they tried to semibluff me with bottom pair and an ISD, and others where I'll call a turn raise and get shown the nuts. Enough of the latter happens in a row, and . . .

Anyway, that's what happened here . . . I'm glad I didn't catch an '8' on the river. SB had TT.
