Default A quick turn bet-fold

5-10 Party. Opponent is reasonable.

hero is the SB with KQo Villain limps in MP, folded to hero. Hero raises. BB and villain call.

Flop: (6SB) A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero bets, BB folds, MP raises, Hero calls.

Turn: (5BB)8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero Bets, MP raises, Hero folds.

OK?

Default Re: A quick turn bet-fold

what does this stop&go accomplish? You hope that he just calls turn and you can put him on a flush draw. The problem with this is that you've raised in the SB and if you have an A than it's AK-AJs and than you would have 3-bet/capped the flop. So if opponent is a good player, he can win this pot with a semibluff here.
