At least I think it is.

I currently have on of those regualr 19" monitors (non-flat screen)

Can I add a flat screen to my set up or do both monitors need to be the same --- ie both flat/both 'regular'

Any info on this would be swell.

Both monitors do not have to be the same as long as your video card supports the connections for both monitors.(you may have to get an adapter if this is not the case)
