Default Re: emigrant direct

Well, actually, I was just pointing out that I know this maneuver to be possible for ING (since freakin started a thread a while ago about this subject which ended with some people claiming it wasn't possible). But as long as your Emigrant account has a routing number you should be able to link it the same way as an ING acct. Presumably you've already linked the Emigrant account to your bank account, so the next step is to call Neteller's support and tell them you want to change the bank account to which your Neteller acct. is linked. They'll remove your current bank information and then you'll be able to sign into the Neteller website and enter the info for your Emigrant account (just the acct. # and routing #). The site says you can only use checking accounts and not savings accounts, but they never ask you to enter check numbers and I've already made an EFT back to my Orange Savings account with no problems. Confirm their micro-deposit as before and you are good to go.

The only thing to watch out for is once you remove your current bank information you can't re-enter it later. So if you later decide to close your Emigrant account for some reason you could be SOL.
