Hand 56: Rob Hollink has the button in seat 6, John Phan raises to $400,000, and Rob Hollink pushes all in for $1,635,000. Phan calls with pocket jacks, and Hollink is dominated with K-J offsuit. The flop comes Qh-9h-5d, and Hollink needs to catch a king (for a higher pair) or a ten (for a straight). The turn card is the 3c, offering no help. The river card is the ace of hearts, and Rob Hollink is eliminated in fifth place, earning $377,420.

Hand 102: Hasan Habib has the button in seat 2, and he calls the $300,000, Tuan Le limps from the small blind, and Paul Maxfield checks his option. All three players check a flop of Kh-8h-3d. The turn card is the 8d, and Tuan Le bets $700,000. The other players fold, and Tuan Le wins the pot.

Can someone explain to me the chip leader open limping 3-handed on the button?
