ok...looks like I goofed the river. I bet T1000.

Villian called. He had 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and got there on the river.

I check call any bet that is made, I really doubt that he has a flush with how you have been betting.

I thought the same thing, and I considered him a decent player, although he had 15 outs.

I don't think the bet of 1000 is bad. You could get called once more by a worse king (or a pocket pair from TT to QQ). If you get raised, it's pretty clear you're beat.

It didn't cost any more than a check call would've and it gives you a chance to sell your hand to people who would've otherwise checked behind you.

I fully expected to see a worse King or A9.

Folding to a raise? If so not too bad, I think calling a push=bad

I would have folded to a raise. I did not want to have to call a larger bet. I thought betting T1000 would prevent him from bluffing me off the best hand.

Would you have folded even to a minimum raise of t1000? He wouldn't have to make you fold very often for it to be profitable (Edit - if he were bluffing).
