New Computer Desk
I have looked at all of the big box retailers and can't find a computer desk that I like. I have 2-2001FP's on the current setup and with the additional height of the stands, I am always looking up at them and my neck feels stiff.
I would like a corner shaped desk with no monitor shelf. Some kind of cord management would be great also. I would also prefer one with no back on it so I can use a footstool. |

Re: New Computer Desk
I went to an unpainted furniture store and got a six-foot-long kitchen table. Stained it myself. Cheaper than the particle board crap desks at the big box places, and it's totally solid. I had 3 21" CRT monitors on it for a while. It pwns. YMMV.

Re: New Computer Desk
IKEA sells flat desk-tops and adjustable legs seperately and in different sizes and finishes.
Again YMMV. |

Re: New Computer Desk
I did the same thing except I bought one on sale at a regular furniture store. Much more surface area to work with. Mine holds three monitors, keyboard, phone, notebook, etc. and I still have room to eat or write checks or whatever. Turns out I'm glad I couldn't find a computer desk I liked.

Re: New Computer Desk
Pull up a recliner under a regular office table and you'll never have neck or back pains again.
