Once you realize it depends, you've taken the only step that matters. The rest of your development is figuring out why it depends and what you should do about it. At least, that's my take on it. |

Told to me by my Uncle almost 30 years ago:
"Bluff rarely, play tight and, if unsure, raise for effect." To this I'd add the following, paraphrasing Mike Caro's book on Poker Tells: 1. Strong is weak and weak is strong. 2. Watch your opponents as they get cards, particularly their eyes. |
