Default Re: How many winners can a $20-$40 game support?

Turbo can show the truth here pretty accurately, but one needs to use the right profiles (etc.). The average lineup is something similar to Paradise $0.5-$1.0 game, both giving e.g. two big bets per hour, as especially the average lineup plays so bad poker after the flop. With that kind of lineups there sure can be, and is, 40% (big) winners, even 80% could be winners. With the tighter/tight lineups that 40% becomes mostly 0-20% (say 10%) winners (0.0-1.0 big/small bets per hour, online - the rake is small enough at 20-40 online that one can with some table selection be at least a non-loser there).

I have superdetailed stats like you and the reason we show 40% winners is that we don't have enough stats on each player. Try and sort your database for players with more then 1000 hands and suddenly most of them are gone. You have a lot of players showing winnings for 150-300 hands but you are not nescessarily around to wittness when they bust out!
