Off the top of my head, I'd guess he only needs to be freerolling about 25% of the time for this to be a fold. I'll let someone else work out the real number.

Just a quick question Diablo

Is this an online "off the top of my head..." ie 30-45 seconds thinking time, or an "into the tank" and come up with...about 25%... you might do in a live game?

Personally, I can't do it even remotely that quickly online but would have a pretty good idea how close it was live after a couple of mins. Maybe this is what seperates the 5/10 player from the 25/50 online?

Diablo is not saying the things he is out of hatred or ill-will towards you. On the contrary, he is doing this out of painstaking care for the entire forum. If he just passes over it he could run the risk of someone taking your advice seriously.

Fair enough. If you're able, could you please give me an example (or two or three) of some horrible advice that I have tried to pass on to fellow 2+2'ers, and explain why it was so bad? The worse, the merrier.

Thanks.

Even if I was getting slightly better than exact odds if I am sure he had Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]X [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I am still folding to avoid feeling like the biggest dumbass in the entire world when I lose to a freeroll.

That was a couple of seconds, hmmmm, feels like about 25-30%, number. I was honestly very happy to see that the actual number turned out to be 27%.

I definitely believe that a key element to NL success is having a good sense of your equity in all sorts of situations.

I'll make it even easier for the lazy haters. Below are a handful of links to some recent posts where I shared my opinion on how hero played, or should have played, the hand. Please explain how & why my advice in any of these threads is so far off the mark.
Thanks again.
