your favorite superstiton
I know I'm not the only one with a stupid superstition about poker playing. Obviously seperating emotions from play is the optimum for poker, but theres always that little corner of the brain that is looking for 'luck'.
two that I seem to have stuck with; 1) I have a favorite seat at Party; I always wanna sit there if I have a choice...and no I aint gonna tell ya, its all mine...na nana na na 2) If I cash out from a site, I cash out everything. Leaving some money in is 'bad voodoo' for me. I am well aware these are purely nonsense...but cant help myself. interested in other's superstitions..... |

Don't cash out from Party, because as soon as you do, they start giving you bad cards. LOL

Sometimes I'll even try a different SNG if my "lucky" seat is already taken. I'm sure I'd be losing even more than I already do, if it wasn't for my lucky seat. Re: your favorite superstiton
I will never say good luck to someone ever. I swear everytime I hear someone do that in a poker game, they get outdrawn. Two weeks ago on the WPT, the eventual winner outdrew KK with AK, and another dominated hand when his opponents wished him luck. If there is such a thing as karma, I believe it attacks insincere wishers of luck.

My only one:
"I need $2M cash to be truly free and content " Notice the emphasis on content. I already know that I will never be happy. |

Funny thing is, I've probably lost just as much sitting there, but it seems like my biggest baddest wins come from that seat. |

Re: your favorite superstiton
oh yea, one more superstition I just realized.....on pacific poker there is an empty drink table at the bottom with a very tiny black dot in the middle....I always set my curser in that dot.
Is that stupid or what? Im gonna turn into one of those nuts that have to turn the lights off and on 50 times before leaving the house |
