I've been playing on-line for nearly five years. Collusion has always been a threat, but its never stopped anyone from playing..

Thats completely false, lots of people that I know say the reason they don't play online is because its too easy for people to collude.

this small stuff doesn't really concern me, as any decent player wouldn't risk having his account and money taken away to increase his hourly earn by a few cents or dollars. the high scale cheating is more of a concern, but as long as the games are good, I don't worry too much

It was kinda along the lines of...

Me: Your guys might get caught you know and they will close both your accounts and take your money.
Buddy: They wont be able to prove anything
Me: They dont have to prove anything to you
Buddy: Ill say that we just like to play against each other
Me: It doesnt matter, if they think you are gulity of collusion they will close your account and take your money
Buddy: Ill take them to court!!
Me: In sweden?
Buddy: [censored], your stupid

It was kinda one of those you had to be there and know my buddy type of things...

I think he actually then tried to tell me he was born in sweden or something. It was just sillyness...im still IMAO thinking about sure he was that they wouldnt be able to close his account and prove anything.

Didnt a big time player run a boiler room with some friends (or by himself) and played o/8 and 7stud and made a few million before quitting?

I couldve sworn I read that the guys testimony on here or RGP but cant seem to find it again

Somebody made this claim...I don't know how credible it is.

On the other hand everybody on RGP is a model of sincerity...

You are being an asshat about the whole situation. He didn't even collude. Reporting people on conspiring to collude is an errosian of civil liberties. Someone could make an offhand comment about colluding on Party Poker in jest and be accussed of a crime. Next thing you know, society is in a state in which making a critical remark about the president is tantamount to conspiracy.

[/ QUOTE ]

that's quite the leap
