bet and call a raise...what about raising pf to isolate the *really* loose limper w/a decent hand?

[/ QUOTE ]

I make that play 100% of the time against this guy.

Dude, isn't your sentence with that avatar about up?

I dry heave a little everytime I see it, and last night I actually had a nightmare about those pointy chiklets coming after me.

Please change that photo - I cannot even get through a post of yours - and I do want to hear what you have to say!

Not betting the river is a huge mistake. At least a third of a big bet.

So what do you think he's been calling the entire time with? Nothing?

Just curious as to the range of hands you'd put him on ...

Raise preflop, and bet/call that river. You're going to be shown a weaker ace, or something like 9T or whatever more often than a flush.

Besides, you have underplayed your hand. Since you didn't raise preflop, maybe he doesn't put you on a ace

I'm trying to recall if I ever not raised AJo in EP after one limper.

villan is 75/10/1.45

Any pair..probably something like 78/9T. I'd be somewhat surprised to see a worse ace since that'll generally make itself known on the turn, but it's a possibility. This villain is *ahem* unlikely to check a flush on the river.

And raise preflop, both for value and to isolate.

Just to echo what has been said - raise pf.

I know you don't like the flush card coming out, but bet the river.
