I looked through their site, and I couldn't find anything explicitly stating that the minimum withdrawal amount was $50.

So the OP does have a point.

However, having a min. withdrawal that matches the min. deposit is common practice, especially with Party and all its skins having that policy.

So either deposit and cashout, or win back your money. Or, just realize that $17 isn't really that much of a reason to get your panties in a wad.

Another tiny poker site based in Costa Rica????

[/ QUOTE ]

Canada. Owned in part by respect long time author of the only accepted rules of Poker - Bob Ciafone.

Are you sure that he is still associated with them? In Improve Your Poker, his discussion of online poker promotes Check N Raise, but then in the new edition of Pot Limit and No Limit Poker, he pushes his affiliate code for Party instead. So I had assumed that he was no longer associated with CnR. Is this wrong?

Just to clarify: is this $50 minimum withdrawal being set by the agent of "original deposit"/withdrawal -- or the casino itself? I know that some funding/transfer companies have a $50 minimum, and some casino reserve the right to reverse transactions vs. initiating a transfer to a different source (this saves thems both the deposit and withdrawal fees: in a reversal it's as if the deposit never took place (hence zero fees) but in a withdrawal to a second source, the casino might have to foot the fees for both deposit and witdrawals, depending on its policies.

The First Commandment of Casino Operation is: Make Ye Rake as Invisible as Possible and Ye Shall Thrive. For should Ye fallst afoul My Commandment, verily shall Ye feel the Wrathe of Mine Bettors, lest they see the roots of Your marbled Manses and Coats of many Colors."

Or words to that effect--and it applies to transaction agents as much as casinos. Either will claim they are "regrettably forced" to charge profitable fees by cruel outside exingencies [such as National Law or, more likely, the mortgage on their yachts and recreational condominiums]

It's a genuine question. I don't mean to imply that anyone is drawing the wrong conclusion.

The site is run by thieves.

You don't make a great case supporting this assertion.

However, you've convinced me that you're a total [censored].

I am quite surprised at how civilized all the posts are here. Very well done, guys. I was expecting some explicit flaming. This thread, I find, is very amusing.

Regarding the current situation experienced by our fellow poster, madyank:

It would be much appreciated if you did not insult the Canadians, as they have not insulted you. This forum is not the complaint department.

Perhaps (an amount less than) $50 is a large amount for madyank and he does not have the means to put more money in to make it up to the minimum $50. In that case, he probably shouldn't be gambling in the first place with the limited funds that he has. And we all know where gambling with your rent leads us...

Also, one should always read all the fine print when putting one's money into something. Anyone with non-moranic status would do this. $50 minimum withdraw is standard just about everywhere. If unsure about this, you should have asked someone who has played at the site in question.

I bet you that madyank didn't even deposit with a bonus. Either that, or he lost it trying to clear it.

This is civiilized?
haha

Thre great defense we have heard so far are:
1) THEY are Canadian therefore infallible!!!!!!
How dare I question anything associated with Canada!!!
(The level of stupidity involved in this argument is self-evident and requires little response)

2)EVERY Site does it !!!!
This is not true. But even if most of them do it, it IS IRRELEVEANT!! It is IRRRELEVANT!!! What does it take for YOU IDIOTS to read my point?????? Holdiong money hostage is WRONG! If you disagree, you must of course never ask for change at the gas pump or in the market. If you do ask for change, you have MADE MY POINT!!!!!

3) Its Just $17!!!!
I think I shall visit every poster who has said thi so far and demand $17 of their dollars. You all think it is meaningless and wip ur arses with it. OK I shall make my living collecing $17 from each and everyone of YOU IDIOTS.

The stakes are irrelevant you DEAF IDDDDDDEEEEEEOTS!!!!

You want to flame me? Wake up and read your own UNEDUCATED, Trailer park TRASH low intelligence replies to a serious issue I am raising about a tiny little greedy site.

So what is the purpose of the moaning?

They have the same rules as Party. If you have below $50 deposit some more and withdraw. It doesn't cost you a cent. You don't lose any money. It takes a bit of time. But much less time than you have spent here moaning about the terrible injustice of it all.

This is like talking to the wall.

So everyones advice is "ACCEPT IT! ACCEPT IT!
Let them FOOK US ALL!!

What sad little existences.....Accept anything that a hidden little poker site wants to do to you.
You really are the mindless minions walking to the slaughter of the RAKE for the grand honour of playing on someones poker site.

Don't deposit->withdraw if it makes you more happy. The obvious solution to your problem is staring you right in the face. If you feel it is more important to ignore it and be a crybaby, feel free. I don't really care.

Whatever we do, we musnt read the thread!!!

Previous reply stated that someone TRIED the deposit then withdraw routine with this site, and ran into heavy problems. IOW they saw what they were doing and still werent interested in returning the money.
