I call down with 47o UTG
Funny hand. At Canterbury last night, there was trouble with the shuffle master at my table. As compensation, for losing like 30 seconds between hands, the floorman put 4 green chips ($100) on the table to start the next pot. Table is all typical loose-passive or loose-weak B&M players.
Canterbury 3/6 Hold'em (7 handed) (pot sizes are approximate to account for rake and jackpot drop) converter Preflop: (33 SB) Hero is UTG with 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls, BB checks. Thank god nobody rasied. Flop: (39 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (7 players) SB bets, BB calls, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls. Thank god nobody raised. I call with a backdoor straight draw only Turn: (22 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (7 players) SB bets, BB calls, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, MP calls, CO folds, Button calls. Thank god nobody raised. I call looking for another 4. River: (27 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players) SB bets, BB calls, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, MP calls, Button calls. Thank god nobody raised. I should have folded. Final Pot: 31 BB SB shows 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] -- 4 of a kind – lucky sh*t. |

Re: I call down with 47o UTG
I don't know if you're actually looking for an analysis of the hand, but...
wouldn't you want to raise this turn, i mean, pot is huge, so you want to go all out to win it, why not face the field with two cold? In this particular hand, you're drawing dead, but in general, shouldn't you be doing whatever you can to get people out and take this pot down? |

Re: I call down with 47o UTG
I would definitely raise the turn. You very possibly have the best hand.

Re: I call down with 47o UTG
Easy fold preflop. Just kidding.
I really don't think raising the turn is going to help since nobody is folding. Just call to the end and hope you end up with the best hand. |

Re: I call down with 47o UTG
Nobody was folding their hand to 2 cold on any street.
And I really wasn't looking for analysis. I just thought it was semi-interesting. |
