River value bet?
50-100 limit level of a single table limit Paradise tourney. A late player limps, someone raises, fish in the small blind calls cold, and hero re-raises, all call. Flop is K73 rainbow, fish checks, hero bets, and only the fish calls. Turn is a 2 putting a 2-flush on the board. Fish checks, hero bets, fish calls. River is a 5 completing the flush possibility. Fish checks. Hero has T180 left. Is this a bad value bet, and if not is it still close? Fish has shown a tendency to call down with all manners of garbage.
I understand you are supposed to value bet less in tournaments than you are in ring games, but I think this is a pretty clear cut bet, as I would expect the fish to call with just about any pair. |
