Default Shuffle Master

Someone posted this link in the Other Topics forum.
http://www.quicken.com/investments/s...picks=hagstrom
It's to a stock screen that found 17 Buffett-type valued stocks. SHFL is #1.

dune,

That link I posted on the "Other Topics" forum was a list of stocks using Robert Hagstrom's method of analyzing stocks based on the strategies Warren Buffet published in his book. There are other useful free tools you can use to create your own method for analyzing stocks at the Quicken site for free.

The stock evaluator is good to look at too. The buffet strategy is different from this, so you will want to investigate further. Here's a link:

The following is a link to SHFL chart compared to the S&P 500. Overall, it's still a winning stock.

Good Luck

Mark

scalf,

I think you might even do better if you just used the Buffet strategy and just avoided some of his picks with high P/Es and sectors that may appear not to do so well based on current economics. I'm stating this as a long term strategy, because most of his picks beat the S&P 500.

Good Luck

Mark
