So Hoyt Corkins, a humble guy from Alabama, makes a lot of money playing poker and gains some notoriety. In 2004, ESPN decides to do a segment on him for broadcast during the US Poker Championship. The ESPN team goes to Alabama and films scenes with him and his family on their property.
The family sits down for a nice meal, with ESPN cameras rolling...and eats off paper plates with plastic silverware. Come on Hoyt, get your Mom some decent plates and silverware. You can afford it. KJS |

I especially loved the shots of Hoyt racing with his little yellow tractor.

Something seems a little off in the Corkins household.
Just a little...off, all-around. |

Paper plates must be replaced everytime they are used while other dinnerware are washed each time and are a one time only cost. The additional cost related to paper plates make them a sign of great wealth.
