The 10% off for DPA (Dell Preferred Account) takes effect once you choose method of payment, which must be the DPA of course. Bear in mind you probably have to pay tax depending on your state. I ordered one two days ago, was $474 plus tax = $507 total. Good price.

Is the DPA 10% off the whole price, or does it max out at $25 off?

Are these really worth it? I buy my 19" monitors used for $50 and I've never had a problem with one of them.

Default the REAL coupon code

http://slickdeals.net/#p5973

go there for the real coupon code guys. Just worked for me.

The coupon only works if you order it from the home section, it doesn't work if you order the monitor from the small business section.

I need to buy 2 Dell 2001FPs. Is this a 1-per-customer deal?

Yeah I don't get it. Unless I'm looking at the wrong thing, it's not even wide screen.... No way I pay hundreds for a screen unless it is a wide screen.

It's a nice luxury, easier on the eyes. I'm on two 19-inch CRT's that I got for a hundred bucks each, and they've worked great for me for years. Probably a little healther to go with a LCD, but I'd rather keep the 400 or 500 bucks.
