The big donators in that game are Larry Flynt, Rene Ageneil, and Jerry Buss.

[/ QUOTE ]

Larry Flynt does not play in the Bellagio mixed game. He's played exclusively 7 card stud for decades. He has his own game at the Hustler Casino.

[/ QUOTE ]

From what has been written, the big donators to the game, besides Andy Beal, have just been random rich business-types guys who come and play high limits for fun and the pros take their money, not necessarily any certain set of famous people.

Farha is pretty fishy in every game but PLO, from what I understand.

No, but Barry Greenstein's player profile on Farha indicates that they structure the game around him (i.e., they always include PLO when he's playing). This is something that players in a big game do to keep a fish happy.

By the way, your sarcasm was noted and totally unnecessary.

I have no idea how you conclude that they do this for sammy from reading this...

[ QUOTE ]
Sammy may be the most feared short-handed pot-limit Omaha player in the world. He is so good that we only play Omaha with him in mixed-games with one or two other games added.

So his weakness is every game BUT PLO....THAT MEANS HE'S GOOD AT PLO.

You read good!

Right, that's precisely why I said that they include PLO in the mix when he plays, to keep the fish happy.

I don't believe I'd go as far as calling Sammy Farha a fish.

Farha did make that interesting comment that he had to place at least 2nd to breakeven/win on his trip to the WSOP in 2003. So maybe he was stuck in this game?

I love the guy, he is great to watch.
