Default Bankroll Management

Hello I have two questions about fixed limit Heads up poker. I'm not talking about short handed, I'm talking about pure headsup.

1: How big bankroll should you have to afford the fluctations? (x times the big bet)

2: Is there any book written on the subject? I've read alot of pokerbooks but it seems like no author has written anything about 1 on 1 poker. Do you know any?

Not that I'm aware of, though of course there's a few pages in HEFAP.

I think that the first book that someone puts out will make a mint, good or bad, as it'll be the only one out there. It will be a tough book to write.

Yeah I know HFAP mentions headsup but its mostly about protecting your blinds etc in a full ring game or short handed... not so much about pure headsup....

Send a PM to Daliman, I'm pretty sure he's the expert on bankroll management around here.

I really have no idea what the differences in BR needed would be for HU v. SH. As a general sort of rule, take a look at your variance, and if you're a ton more swingy HU, then you'll need a bigger BR.
