Yeah, well, it's only calling 200 into a 900 pot, when our stack is 14K. What it really has going for it is that if a non-flush ten comes we have the nuts and could get tons of action if someone else has a jack. If the board were K-Q-8-5 then there would be no reason to call with AJ, but I don't mind it here where the board is K-Q-9-5.

Also we do have position, so if we make our straight with a flush card on the river, and it's checked to us, we can still make a decent value bet. (Unlikely that a rivered flush goes for a checkraise.)

Despite all that, folding the turn may still have been a bit better than calling. You can also make the case for raising to about 700 on the turn; I think that raise takes down the pot more than half the time.
