Last year at some stage there was a big stink over Men the master and others and various forms of cheating in tournaments. Does anyone know where i can any info on this?

This isn't the greatest, but it seems to indicate that this "controversy" was discussed on RGP in the December 2001 timeframe. Maybe it can put you on the right track to find more detailed information.
