Default QQ on the button.

6-12 canterbury, pretty loose, and passive. (I know, it wasn't passive this one hand, so bear with the description)

UTG, LAG is racked up, and is leaving after this hand open raises. LP player calls, folded to me on the button with black Queens, I three bet, loose tricky player in the big blind coldcalls. LAG fourbets, and LP caps it for form. Four players, and 20 small bets.

Flop Q [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] . I like this flop.

BB checks, LAG bets, LP folds! ( what can you put five bets in preflop, that you can't call even one with on the flop) I call, and the BB calls. I decided that I was going to slowplay this hand, as long as LAG was betting, to try and get overcalls from the BB.

Turn 9 [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] .

BB checks, LAG checks, I bet, BB folds, LAG calls.

River J [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] .

LAG bets out, and I think that he might have pocket Jacks. I raise, and he reraises.

Clearly, I am going to put in a fourth bet now, but how many bets are you willing to go, before you will consider the possibility that he has pocket twos?

Default results.

I fourbet, he made it five bets, and I made it six bets, and had decided to call if he made it seven. He called the sixth bet, and did have pocket jacks, and left with about 3/4 of a rack less than he had before the hand.

Let's look at the facts.

LAG open-raises - could be pocket twos.
LAG 4-bets pre-flop - could be pocket twos, but less likely.
LAG check-calls the turn - highly unlikely he has pocket twos.
LAG bets quads on the flop? Near impossible he has pocket twos.

I'll go at least 9 or 10 bets on the river. The better the LAG knows me, the sooner I slow down.

BTW, I recently posted a very similar hand in Mid-High Stakes - "When Do You Believe the Super-LAG."

I would go really far with your hand if it came to that. The likelyhood of pocket 2's is very low. Very very low. I wouldn't go forever, but I'de put in a fair chunk of change before I decided to simply call.

Wohoo!! nice pot. I'd probably lose most of what I came with to quad 2's here.

Default Many.

He probably would have checkraised the turn w/ quads, no?
And I don't think he would have bet the flop with quads.
I think I'd stop at 7 bets.

I am putting in the fourth and the sixth if it comes back to me. I cannot see pocket two's with his lack of agression on the turn. The river could also give him diamonds. I call if he reraises my sixth bet, although I do not think I am beat.

Without reading the other responses, I would put in the fourth bet against almost anybody. I would put in the sixth bet against a loose/aggressive, but I'd usually stop after that. At some point, he's got to credit you with a huge hand. Also, people who have racked up are usually less inclined to get out of line than usual.
