$20 Tourney, 50 left out of 200, blinds 150/300 + 200 in antes, avg stack about 6K, folded to Hero(4K) in CO with A7o. I raise to 950, Button folds, SB(1.1K left) pushes, BB(1.5K left) makes it 1.6K
There's 3950 in the pot and I have to call 650. I think SB could have any ace, any pair, or JQ/JK/QK due to <4BB desperation. Not as sure what BB could have, but it's probably a tighter range because he has limited folding equity. Maybe 77+ or AJ+. So the only situation where I'm hosed is if I'm against one hand of A8+ and another hand of 77+. Should this be called, or are my ranges off? Anyone have an issue with my analysis? More info: I don't have any specific reads on them, but I have stolen the blinds from them a couple of times in the last two orbits. The money isn't much until the final table (9th is 4x buy-in, 1st is 50x). |

I definitely think you have to call. In these $20 tourneys, I don't know if you can count on BB thinking about FE. He's probably trying to isolate, and I have seen people make the same movie with any suited ace in that position. Since even just beating BB makes back a significant chunk of the 650, I think calling is definitely the answer.

If you are up against KK and QQ, you have a 25% chance of winning.
Easy call. PGA71 |

Thanks for the feedback. It seemed like a straightforward call, so I'm glad that others agree.
