Default A7o from BB

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3.5 SB)
Hero bets, MP2 folds, CO calls.

CO just sat down about 4 hands ago and is unknown. Do you continue or let this one go right here? Why?

That's a tough one, but I probably fold since the pot is small.

I call down from here.

Why? Because I probably have the best hand.

And I thought you were going to dinner?

You're getting 5:1 on improving, and you may have the best hand. You have to call this down. If villian has spiked a two pair, we have even more outs to counterfeit.

can eat and study at the same time.

do you think your hand is best because there was no preflop raise, so the 7 kicker is likely best?

I think I'll call down from here. CO might be thinking your bluffing at the pot on the flop with a mid/low pair since you're BB, and he probably just spiked a pair of kings only (I just encountered this play earlier today). I think your hand will be best enough of the time to warrant the call down.

This smells like the villan was waiting for the turn to raise. Its possible he has a king. But it seems more likely he flopped a set or 2 pair. From the point villan raised, you are getting an effective odds of 2:6.5, or 1:3.25. I fold here.

Absent a read, it's an easy call down. You have top frickin' pair.

I'm tempted to say fold since the Pokerroom is full of weak tighties. Oh whatever fold.
