Instead of totally berating the guy, you can try to empathize with the point he is trying to make. I'm not sure about the past few months, but it would seem that that the amount of money that internet poker players make would have to do with a)their own skill vs. b)the skill of the people they are playing against. With these forums, all sorts of literature, and all the other resources available to your average player, it would seem to me that the average skill level of all players involved would increase at a rate that is higher than the number of "green" players consumate their careers. I don't think poker cat is saying that 5-10 six max can't be beat, he's saying, "Hey guys...uh I don't know if anyone else has noticed...but the games are getting tougher"... Which I think they certainly are, at all limits.

The question on the table is, how do you sustain a winrate when all that is left is good players playing other good players.

And the only person that knows the answer to that question is.......Excel

how am i meant to know the answer?

Well for what its worth, play slightly looser than the TAGS, and out play them post flop over more hands, stay out the way of there raises depending on there position,

Even higher up limits you get players over 50vpip with pfr about 10 or under, so even if you do loosen up you still tighter than these

the games are still amazingly soft. every once in a while I'll take a ridiculous beat and it'll put a big smile on my face because you usually don't see such retarded play above 2/4. if you think they're tough then "you almost assuredly suck"
