Default A6s on the Button, preflop

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Hero ?

This is the 3rd hand at the table so I have no reads, and I am new to 2/4 and am really iffy on this.

I generally raise here.

I like it less if MP is a tight limper (especially if he doesnt raise much preflop) or there are very loose players in the blinds.

But, overall, I like to pump it up.

You have a strong hand, and isolating a limper (with position) is almost always a good thing.

I would assume the guy is loose and raise it up.
