1. Reads help. Immensley.

2. Don't post the results.

That said, don't raise 77 in EP. I just call here, because you don't want to get 3-bet, and you want worse hands to limp along with you. And 77 isn't that great.

Not raising pf helps with your flop play. I wouldn't bet that flop.

River play is player dependent. See #1.

I like it except for the raise PF. I would have called here. Though, since you did raise PF, I think you're correct to bet the flop. If a seven hadn't come on the turn and there was action, I may have folded.

I don't like the preflop raise, other than that it is fine. Against many opponents you want to set or fold with sevens. The flop bet is questionable but I can't see what suits the cards are.

-Blind Post

I don't see anything wrong really. I may not raise with 77 preflop.
Good bet on the flop.
Of course your going to bet the turn when you hit a set.
His raise on the river screams flush to me, but you should definitely call. With pocket queens I don't know why he didn't reraise preflop or raise the flop? I could never have put him on pocket queens.

I think you played it well.

Great thanks! I see what you are saying about the preflop raise. Ill make a note of that. I didnt have alot of reads on the table yet so thats the reason behind the 5th street call and not reraise.

I like everything except the pre-flop raise. I think you should limp here.

PS: Please don't post results with the hand. I didn't cheat, but its tempting and can skew the answers you get.

Don't raise PF.

I don't mind the flop bet. You might well be behind, but the bet I think helps put you in the driver's seat.

I don't mind the line other than the PFR.

I would limp preflop and would probably check the flop here. The rest is ok.

*grunching*

I would just call the pf. Not that strong a pp.

The flop call is marginal, but i suppose i would have done the same thing.

I'd be freked out about a flush on the river, but would have called nontheless.

So my only main difference is the pf raise.
