Re: Kems vs Copags (AGAIN?? Yes again)
The only "poker" size cards I own are the Dal Negro's and although I really like the cards (feel, look, playability), I now know that I am a bridge width man.

Re: Kems vs Copags (AGAIN?? Yes again)
I've run into the same dilema on which cards to buy. I just bought my first set of COPAG cards from overstock.com for less than $20 USD total. I like them. They are very durable, you can bend them and they snap back to their shape. The graphics could be better. I just ordered my first set of KEM Arrow design cards for about $25 on nicetoys.com. When I get them I'll let you know what I think of them. There is a website where this guy has done extensive research on all the different types of cards. It may help sway your decision on which cards to buy for your home game. www.homepokertourney.com [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Re: Kems vs Copags (AGAIN?? Yes again)
WOW, I just bought the arrow design from Nice toys. I hope I'm getting a good product. Really, I didn't want to pay the $41 for the Arrows on KEM.com. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Re: Kems vs Copags (AGAIN?? Yes again)
I have arrows, they are great. I don't care too much for the design. I'm not if the design or the actual quality of the card makes them so popular. Also, they were used in Rounders so that may explain something.
I prefer bridge size as well |

Re: Kems vs Copags (AGAIN?? Yes again)
I'm looking for 2 different people out there who own the Kem arrow cards that would like 2 single (probably the jokers) cards of the Copag signature style that I like so much. I'd be interested to hear someone else's take on these (although 2 cards isn't the same as having the entire deck).
Only requirement is that the recipient has an open mind becuase I'm looking for a honest comparison and I don't want to buy a set of Arrows to compare for myself because I'm worried that they are not an upgrade...but outside of that, I just want another opinion besides my own on these particular Copag's. |

Re: Kems vs Copags (AGAIN?? Yes again)
If you paid $60 for your KEM cards, you got ripped off.
I have bought 6 decks now, and each double pack was ~$20. My most recent purchase was a month ago. No, I do not mean the cards which were defective. The guy was nice enough to replace those. I've used both Copag and KEM cards, and I find the Copags to be ugly (paint cards) and of no higher quality than my KEM decks. |

Re: Kems vs Copags (AGAIN?? Yes again)
I'd love to try out the jokers and be subjective. I have a nice table I can slide them on. (My arrows slide better than my other KEMs) I could also mail you my jokers. PM me if interested.

Re: Kems vs Copags (AGAIN?? Yes again)
Ky..I ordered a set of the Copag Signatures this morning...I also have the Copag exports already, which I really like.
I also have KEM Arrows from 2002, but I prefer even the export copags to them. When I get the signature's, I will post what I think in comparison to the copag exports and the kem arrows |
