Bellagio 30-60 - Check top pair twice
Game is normal I guess, fairly tight and several bad players.
First Orbit, I get AcTc UTG+1. Unknown UTG limps. I raise. Local Pro 3-bets me on the button. We both call. Flop Ad4s4d. UTG checks, I check, button checks. Not an obvious tell, but his check felt more like a "everytime I get Kings..." rather than a slowplay. Turn 7c. UTG checks, I check, Button bets. UTG calls, I call. River 3d. UTG checks, I bet and both players call. |

What was your motivation for checking the turn, I can understand checking the flop.

Re: Bellagio 30-60 - Check top pair twice
Because the button won't check twice w/ KK, but he may fold to a bet.

Re: Bellagio 30-60 - Check top pair twice
I'd checkraise the turn. I posted a slightly similar hand yesterday. You don't know that you'll get paid off on the river and UTG sure looks like he's drawing or maybe has a weaker suited ace. Plus, you can easily fold to a 3-bet here. Headsup I like your line, but with two players in a pretty big pot, I'd checkraise them both, and expect to get called by at least one on both the turn and river.
