alright fine. even though I'm getting suckered on this.

$100. Giants and A's will win more games than the Cubs in 2005.

Are you game?

[/ QUOTE ]

That's both the Giants and the A's, not the Giants and A's combined.

Clarifying the rules is an excellent idea. Well done.

Give me some odds and I will put down $100.

Nate, you should either get a 3rd party to hold this in escrow or make sure that the settlement date coincides with his rakeback payment.

Here's a fun one. 15/30. There's a poster with a dead blind in the CO. UTG raises; UTG+1, MP, HiJack, CO and SB all call. I call in the BB with 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. The HJ is a tight aggressive player and the SB is normal preflop but very aggressive postflop. I don't have reads on the other players.

Flop Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB bets, I raise, UTG, UTG+1, MP and CO all cold call. SB 3-bets, I call, everyone else calls.

Turn 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB bets, I raise, everybody cold calls again, SB raises again and I cap.

Good?

[/ QUOTE ]

Me likely. I sure hope the board doesn't pair on the river.

Looks standard so far, I would be more interested in seeing the river action

OMG. what's up with your avatar?

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree. That was very disorienting when I opened the thread. Like being in Bizzaro 2+2 or something, Nate without the Uma avatar.

CDC, the Giants are going to kill you on that bet.

River was a blank, SB checked it to me, I bet ... my hand was good and he called down with A6o. Dude was on some mad kind of tilt, though I didn't realize it until later.

Actually, upon waking up this morning and seeing the hand afresh (that's a lie ... haven't really been to bed yet) I think all the actions are pretty straightforward. With so much overlay from all the cold callers, I don't even have to have the best hand the majority of the time to make the turn cap correct.

But I think it's cool that you don't like money.

how did you come up with 6,236:1 ?
.5+1.5 from sb, 1 from bb, 2 from utg, and 4 cold callers (8 bets)

pot is 13 small bets...
