Hopefully tomorrow's show will be the 300-500 NL game, will give the game some nice exposure (along with a jackpot being hit tonight).

I approve of the simple fade transition between cameras.

I've been gone for only ... several days! When did they get the tv table with shuffler? And did they really get a big game going last friday, 300/600, with hennigan?

[/ QUOTE ]

Announcers said the big game didn't want to move unless they had a shuffler. Shuffler installed.

Hennigan took the 300/600 for at least a rack, probably more.

[/ QUOTE ]

so even the pros whine and complain about the dealer shuffling wrong ? thats pretty funny actually.

[/ QUOTE ]

Most players love the shuffle machines, mostly because you get an extra three to five hands per hour. I'm surprised that some casinos still haven't installed them at least on their most used tables (although they may have ordered and there may be some problems with Shufflemaster catching up with demand).

im wondering what these chips are. $10 chips right? red or brown? can we get a closeup? thx.

[/ QUOTE ]

The ten dollar chips are brownish tan in LA.

The high limit players prefer shufflers because they can get more hands in per hour. The red chips are $10. - Kevin...

Sorry Keven, was surfing in flat mode and didn't see you answered the same question. Note that the $10 chips are more like a cross between tan and brown. The red chips in LA are usually 25 cents and are rarely used.

I'm assuming this must have been mentioned on the broadcast. This could be a very good game and I hope to play it tonight if possible.

This is a restricted buy-in game with similar blinds but a much larger buy-in than the $200 fixed buy-in no limit. Blinds are $5 and $5 (they are $3 and $5 in the $200 NL game). Buy-in is $300 to $500. If player has $300 up to $500 you can top off to $500 anytime without it counting as a short buy. If below $300 any re-buy or add-on $200 or over is a full buy, otherwise it's a short buy (note that you can't buy back to back short buys in most LA card clubs).

Should fill the gap between the $200 fixed buy NL game and the $500 minimum buy NL game (with $5 and $10 games) quite nicely.
