Another Question For Christians

I'd say proof is too strong of a word. But what he's trying to get across, I think, is that the burden of the argument is on the ones claiming that something non-observable, is infact, real. I'm sure that many atheists would change their mind about all of this, if there were evidence.

Personally, I don't view anyone differently whether they believe in the existence of God or not. I can't prove to you that there is no God, and you can't prove to me that there is. Both are theories and neither is 100% wrong, or 100% right.

Do you believe in the theory of gravity in its accepted form?

Asserting that the pot is infinite is tantamount to conceding the argument. We must assume that the pot is of unknown size. So, we cannot make a rational pot odds argument for either side.

Pascal's wager also makes the assumption that Christianity is the only choice. Doesn't the wager also prove that we must all convert to Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Bhuddism?

Even if there is a God, perhaps he intends to punish those who foolishly spend their time praying to him. It seems to me that the height of presumption is to posit an infinite mind, and then explain what that mind is thinking.

Well what I was referring to wasn't that "what goes up must come down", but the actual processes behind it. I was more referring to the fact that while we know that masses tend to move toward eachother, despite much research and theories, we don't know WHY they do.
