Default Handicapping Horses

Can someone recommend a good handicapping book or website? Aside from the DRF.

there's not really a good mathematical approach to something like horse racing which by its nature is not a mathematically logical sport.

the free Acrobat file on DRF called "Winning Techniques" is a reasonable start:
http://drf.com/row/fan_ed/winning-techniques-2004.pdf

other sites which I visit for general coverage include:
http://www.bloodhorse.com/
http://www.espn.com/horse/
http://www.thoroughbredtimes.com/
http://www.brisnet.com/

I've read a few Beyer books in the past but don't recall anything definitive about them that made me a 'better bettor'. Good value as a pastime, but not as a manual.

I love the drama of racing itself, but there is virtually NO good way to make money on it in the long run.

Thanks for your input. The sites are very useful. I plan on using the info for the one or two times I go to the track this summer.I am not looking to make money in the long run. The amazing thing about the poker world is that everyone is so obsessed with + EV, that they forget that some things are just fun and entertaining.
