Check Raise or Played Properly?
I had very little read here on the CO here. Had sat down and watched about 12 hands, and he seemed to fold a decent amount PF, didn't see any significant flop play beyond a call to see the flop and a fold. PT only had about 20 hands beyond that and he *might* be a TAG, maybe tight passive.

You played this fine, don't sweat trying to extract more bets in this situation.

Re: Check Raise or Played Properly?
CO has shown no sign of agression, so you can't really expect him to bet if you check. Without a strong read, this is very standard.

Re: Check Raise or Played Properly?
Looks good, if you knew CO was aggressive (which you don't) then maybe a check raise would have been the correct play, but here I think you should just lead out and bet it the whole time.

Disclaimer: Posting in the dark.
I really don't like checking to one possibly passive player with the intention of raising. If he has an ace, he might raise anyways. If he's bluffing, he won't call your check-raise and you'll still only get one bet out of him. And, of course, you give him a great chance to get a free showdown against your TTTK. |

Re: Check Raise or Played Properly?
No reason to think he'll bluff, so bet all the way.

HU without a really good read, I think you have to lead every street. It's really no good to let this get checked through at any point.
