Default Unlimited reraising when river is heads up

I play 99% of the time in Cryptologic skin sites where it is allowed to have unlimited number of reraises on river if the pot becomes heads up in the last street. Does the same rule apply on Party poker skin sites?

IMO, people should write to the major poker sites and request this. All casinos do it - why not online? It is certainly doable in terms of programming.

Do they really only allow it on the river? If two guys are heads up on the turn they can't go as many bets as they want? If so, that's stupid.

No, they allow unlimited raising on any street as long as its heads-up

Yes that's right, unlimited reraises in every round when pot is heads up but it is allmost always happening on river when you have a lock. Based on my experience on Cryptologic (55k hands) this can be very profitable against maniacs and LAGs.

It usually happens on the river (Straigt flush against flush/full house or full house against nut flush). Of course a good player has to adapt his strategy to a) drive everybody out before the river when he feels that the pot is going to develop into a raising war with the maniac and b) be more inclined to call with marginal draws due to the huge implied odds in these situations.

No not all casinos do it. Here in Vegas The Excalibur caps it at 3 raises and I know there's a few here that cap it at 5.

I agree. They have no interest in that b/c the rake for that hand is probably already maxed out. They'd rather let that sucker play a few more hands and rake those as well.
